Sparkling lights and the scent of cookies – getting into the Christmas spirit on holiday

The first strings of Christmas lights are hanging in the windows, the smell of cookies is drifting from the kitchen and the Advent calendars are ready to be packed – we are slowly getting into the Christmas spirit! Christmas preparations are also already underway at our partner hotels. Today we want to show you what our hoteliers have come up with and where you can spend some romantic time together.

Romantic Christmas market with lake view

A visit to Landgut Stober in Havelland is always worthwhile, but those who make it to the organic hotel on 8 December can enjoy the 12th traditional Advent market! Enjoy fresh salmon, which is cooked at the open fire, listen to Christmas stories, sample delicacies from the country estate kitchen, browse handicrafts or excitedly wait for Santa Claus to visit – the Advent market enchants the whole family. Spend a relaxing pre-Christmas weekend and enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Groß Behnitz and Brandenburg's oldest plane trees.

Christmas in the Black Forest

Traveling over the Christmas holidays? Of course! Visit, for example, the snow-covered Black Forest around Bad Herrenalb. Whether sledding or snowshoeing, here you can be sporty as you like. However, relaxation and reflection shouldn't be neglected – luckily the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA has the perfect Christmas offer: On Christmas Eve allow yourself to be spoiled with a festive 4-course menu, including wines and musical accompaniment. Enjoy delicacies from the kitchen over the Christmas public holidays, with the option of vegetarian or vegan on request. And of course, you can also relax in the 850 m² SPA area with mineral thermal swimming pool and saunas.

DIY Gifts from the Allgäu Mountains

Stressed out by everything that still needs to be done this year? Then escape everyday life to the airy heights of the Allgäu Mountains! At the HUBERTUS unplugged you can enjoy a break for both body and soul – and take part in one of the natural cosmetics workshops. Here you will learn how to make your own deodorant, lip balm, body scrub, bath additives and much more – gift them to yourself or share them with your loved ones. The "Zero Waste" workshop, where you can make beeswax cloths, will have a lasting effect. If you're looking for a gift from the kitchen, you'll also find it in the Allgäu Mountains: Ayurvedic chef Gabriel Simon regularly produces chutneys and pralines himself in workshops with guests – which are also great under the Christmas tree.
