Rooms & Amenities
12 flats with two to three rooms, between 38 m² and 76 m²
Spacious flats: living room with sleeping sofa, a small pantry (2 hops, fridge, dishes, cutlery), kettle, Sat TV and living-room furniture
Parents’ bedroom with double bed (160x200cm) and on request baby bed, additionally the family flatlets also have got a double floor bed (90x200cm).
Organic self-service catering
Carefree, that also applies to the catering at Gut Nisdorf. Guests can, for example, order fresh rolls or a complete breakfast with everything their heart desires. For the latter, they will find the basics such as butter, margarine, ( plant-based) milk and a sweet spread already in their own refrigerator.
Cheese, sausage, fruit, vegetables and other spreads, as well as bread and rolls are then available at the self-service breakfast bar – in organic quality, of course.
.
Happy children – relaxed parents
Lots of time with the whole family in the middle of nature: nothing easier than that at Gut Nisdorf! But time for two is not forgotten either, because in the garden the kids are busy while the parents relax in the beach chair. But maybe the inner child comes through and the parents try out kettcars and playground as well. After all, all the playground equipment is also suitable for adults 😉
History & Philosophy
A look behind the scenes…
To establish and manage a hotel for family and nature vacation – how does one get such an idea?
In 1993 the daughter of Sabine Stange and Jürg Gloor was born. The first vacations with child were strenuous, because the rooms in the hotels were mostly too small, place for the child lacked and although everything for the bodily welfare was provided, the small family was not really relaxed.
Green Initiatives
“Our aim is not to missionize our guests to convert to an ecological life. If somebody takes home something for his life and starts reflecting about food, water consumption or garbage avoidance then we have reached a lot.”

Common Good Economy
The aim of the Common Good Economy is to make human dignity, solidarity, ecological sustainability, social justice as well as democratic co-determination and transparency the basis of a business.
With the Common Good Economy balance an enterprise (privately or public, of benefit to the public or profit-oriented, large or small, every branch) measures its contribution to the public weal of a democratic society.
Specifically it gives account about how much it contributes to the five most important constitutional values of democratic states: Human dignity, solidarity, sustainability, justice and democracy.
A maximum of 1,000 points can be achieved, which is shown in the future in the form of a 5-coloured public weal traffic light.
For Sabine Stange and Jürg Gloor not the achievement of a high score was in the foreground, but that a sustainable and economic action benefits all. Here you find the report.
Culinary
- The food fulfills 100 % of the social and ecological criteria Food and drinks must be bio- certified
- Demeter-and regional bio labels are preferred
- The fish and the game comes from small business from the region and a short route of transport is preferred to bio. The regional fish is consciously used on the menu. If there is no fish to buy no fish from the fisherman, it is renounced

- Zero Waste Kitchen
- A weekly Veggie-Day
Both main suppliers for food are:
- Company „Biofrisch Nordost“: a company producing according to Bioland criteria pursuing a network for regional bio products

Ecology
“Ecology and sustainability are extremely important for us. Therefore, we use whenever possible, ecologically acceptable building materials. We use wood for the furniture and rainwater. We have always used ecological paper and the cleaning detergents are also eco friendly.
We use organic food which we source regionally. Fish and game are also sourced regionally.”
