Rooms and Amenities

The Peak offers two chalets and seven apartments with space for up to seven people. All living areas feature comfortable box-spring beds and satellite TV, a hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. For a daily dose of fresh air, all apartments and chalets have access to a balcony or terrace.

History and Philosophy

The Kneisl family, that is, Ronald, Martina, Monika and Stefanie Kneisl, are passionate mountaineers. The family is very close to nature and loves the mountains with their typical flora and fauna.

  • The property of The Peak has been in the family for decades and used for farming in the past
  • As building material, the scrap wood from Michl’s Stadl (the old barn that used to stand on this site) was used
  • In addition, Ötztal granite (stone) was used in the construction
  • All the work was done by local companies
  • During a 7-day stay, hand and shower towels are changed in the middle of the week
  • Rain showers and other water saving measures are already used
  • Water saving toilet flush
  • Water comes from the mountains around Sölden and the garden water for watering the plants comes from the own spring of the water cooperative of the hamlet Grünwald
  • All appliances are equipped with water saving filters or saving buttons
