Zighy Bay and Local Community
Six Senses Zighy Bay is an active and committed member of Zighy Village through the continuous support by the resort’s Sustainability Fund.
The resort is expanding their reach further into Dibba, the neighboring Omani community, through joining forces with Muscat based NGO Dar al Atta’a. The most recent collaboration has aided less fortunate families in Dibba with Ramadan food rations and supporting a local female university student’s education.
Projects still in development with Dar al Atta’s include improving the housing facilities to better meet the needs of a physically challenged father of six and the construction of a community center accessible and run by the local people of Dibba, which will be another milestone in their continued local development.
