Ninh Van Bay & Local Community

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is actively involved with local communities, including the city of Nha Trang and Ninh Van Village.

Using the Sustainability Fund the resort works with the community on a variety of projects including trips which engage members of staff, guests, and local people, the activities are primarily focused on protecting the environment, and supporting the community and local culture.

Most recently, in celebration of Earth Day 2014, Mr. Gary Henden – General Manager, accompanied by community members and resort guests, visited Ninh Van Village and their Primary School. The Six Senses Water sales (50% of which contributes to the Sustainability Fund) were used to purchase a new water filtration system for the local Primary school.

Healthy, clean, and drinkable water is not always accessible to the smaller villages of Vietnam. In addition the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay team and guests collaborated with the local villagers to clean the beach of ocean rubbish, which is major issue in the area.
