Romance is alive at Green Pearls!

Naturally, all of our green hotels are romantic. They all focus on a sustainable experience, which brings about a sense of romance all on its own. For Valentine’s Day we have put together our favorite romantic experiences for all those hit by cupid:

„Sundowner“ at Sleeping Warrior in Kenya

One of the most romantic things to experience at the Sleeping Warrior is the sundowner: an essential part of safari life dating back to the time of the great safaris of the 1920’s. Timed to start as the sun begins its descent, the sundowner experience begins with a gentle evening game drive, arriving at the sundowner site just as the evening sky turns gold and pink. A campfire is lit, a full bar set up alongside a ring of safari chairs, and cocktail snacks are served. As night falls, you drive back to camp in time for dinner. This is an experience not to be missed. After that and especially for Valentine’s Day, you can enjoy a free his and her in-room massage and a candlelit five course gourmet meal with champagne. Pure romance!

Forsthofalm

Take a Bath in the Snow at Forsthofalm in Salzburger Land, Austria

You think that cold temperatures and snow are not exactly conducive to romance? Well, think again. What could be more romantic than submerging yourself in a steaming, outdoor Jacuzzi with a glass (or two) of champagne, fresh fruit dipped in chocolate fondue while lovingly gazing into the stars above. With your other half, of course…

Dinner in the Dark in Hua Hin, Thailand

Our green pearl in Thailand, Aleenta Hua Hin-Pranburi Resort & Spa offers a pretty extraordinary experience: eating dinner blindfolded and in the dark. This is all in the name of romance, to sharpen your senses with an aphrodisiac-inspired, six course menu. Your room will be decorated with red roses and a champagne breakfast awaits the next morning. Exciting!

Berlin, oh, Berlin

Berlin is not Paris, but you can still find romance here, you just have to know where. Andy Shaw of Miniloft Berlin put this heartwarming schedule together for us: hold hands and take a leisurely walk through the intimate and cozy Viktoria Park, then eat (and share) ice cream at the Eismanufaktur, an out-of-this-world ice cream parlor, and then head to Clärchen’s Ballhaus for a candle lit classical concert in the mirror room. Let this romantic day come to an end at Miniloft Berlin. Now try saying Berlin isn’t romantic!

Chole Mjini, the most sustainable dinner experience?

No need to be scared on Mafia Island off the coast of Tanzania, quite the opposite. This is the place to be on Valentines Day: eat the fish you caught earlier that day while sitting right by the water, then lovingly gaze at a clear sky full of brightly sparkling stars from your own tree house accommodation. Just perfect.

The gift of “nothing” at Creativehotel Luise in Erlangen, Germany

This is my not-so-secret Valentines trump card: give your partner „sweet nothing“. A package full of lovely and romantic little nothings: cozy „nothings“, relaxing „nothings“, tasty „nothings“ and lots (or nothing) more… Find out more about this intriguing experience right here.

Restaurant- Romantic Dinner 3

Gazebo Romance in Bali

Couples are invited to dine under the thatched, Balinese gazebo by the sea on Valentines Day. The atmosphere at Puri Dajuma Cottages & Spa Resort is intimate and cozy, listen to the nearby waves and look out over the sea and watch the sunset, all while being spoiled with delicious food and tasty wines. The way to a man or woman’s heart is through his/her stomach, as they say…

Happy Valentines Day!
