Italy the origin of Slow Food
Italy is famous all over the world for its great wines and excellent food. No woulder that the Slow Food movement originates in Bra a little town in Piedmont, in Italy. It was founded by Carlo Petrini, a wine and food journalist who became disgusted by fast food companies eroding Italy’s ancient culinary culture. Slow Food encourages farmers to grow their products organically and protect the environment.
